THE SYSTEM — FREQUENTLY QUERIED

How do releases work?
Each season opens with a fixed catalogue, released on a defined schedule. Once a season is sealed, it does not reopen and its objects are not reissued.
How are units allocated?
Each object has a fixed edition size. Units are acquired on a first-come basis until the edition is exhausted. Objects are produced to order once a unit is acquired.
What is a unit?
A single numbered instance of an object. Every unit carries a unique archive number — logged at entry, never reassigned, traceable for the life of the record.
What is the Archive Key?
Every unit includes an Archive Key. Crafted from zinc alloy and engraved with its archive number, it permanently identifies your place within the archive.
